Origins

After working in one of Tokyo’s most renowned legal offices, Elisabeth H. Jacobs Jahrreiss, Ass. Jur., enjoyed five successful years as Head of HR and in-house legal counsel for the LVMH Group (Christian Dior). She then founded JAHRREISS & PARTNER GmbH in 1990 and established the Recruiting Team in Munich.

Christian Jacobs studied Psychology, Ethnology, and Pedagogy. In 1991, his diploma thesis was honored by prominent German executive boards as being particularly innovative and, by 1998, he was already being included among Europe’s most innovative minds by the newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung. His work involved developing management talent and providing consultation for change processes until he founded an art book publishing house in 2000, operating an exhibition space for contemporary art.

In 2004, Elisabeth and Christian Jacobs decided to come together on a professional basis resulting in the founding of J&P GmbH. Together they continue  to develop the company on a daily basis by working with clients and their own team.
